The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is moving up a gear in Agadir, with the signing of three agreements with major German partners.
Thus, on the sidelines of the ITB exhibition in Berlin, the Director General of the ONMT, Adel El Fakir, signed a partnership agreement with the Director of Partnerships and Sales of Condor, Christian Lesjak, covering the period from October 10, 2023 to April 30, 2024 and providing for the creation of 4 new connections from Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg to Agadir at the rate of two frequencies per week, announces the Office in a press release.
Condor Flugdienst GmbH is a German airline that operates scheduled flights. It is positioned on a regular leisure flight market and provides medium and long-haul flights from Germany. It also operates charter flights. The company is now committed to invest more in Morocco during the next seasons.
Still concerning Agadir, El Fakir signed an agreement with the Managing Director of Alltours, Georg Welbers, covering the summer 2023 and winter 2023/24 seasons in which the tour operator (TO) undertakes to increase Morocco’s programming with a objective of 10,000 customers from the Germanic market, indicates the press release.
Alltours is Germany’s fourth largest tour operator. In 2019, it carried 1.7 million tourists. The Group considers Morocco to be a very important destination and intends to develop considerably over the next few years.
The third agreement and not the least, was signed by El Fakir with the Vice-President of Sales, Distribution & Digital Eurowings, Michael Erfert, and the Head Touristic Offer Management of Eurowings, Heiko Brix.
Covering the 2023 summer season and the 2023/24 winter season, this agreement provides for the creation of 4 new connections from Düsseldorf to Agadir and Marrakech on a weekly basis.
