New bug on Twitter, the 2nd in a week

The Twitter social network was hit Monday evening by a new bug, less than a week after a global blackout that lasted more than two hours.

Indeed, shortly before 6 p.m. the visuals were no longer displayed and the links did not work for a long time. Users clicking on the links instead saw a long error message stating that there is a problem with the API, i.e. Twitter’s programming interface. Similarly, the visuals also appear as blank color blocks.

In the process, more than 10,000 outages have been reported in the past 24 hours on the Downdetector site, which lists outage alerts from users in several countries.

After an hour, the Twitter platform was able to work again.
