His lawyer denounces an "attempted racketeering", the PSG supports him

The Moroccan international, member of Paris Saint-Germain, Achraf Hakimi, was indicted Thursday for rape, by the parquet floor of Nanterre.

The right side was heard Thursday by investigators from the Hauts-de-Seine Territorial Security, then indicted by an investigating judge and placed under judicial supervision.

His lawyer, Me Fanny Colin, denounced a “attempted racketeering” against his client, who “firmly denies the accusations” brought against him.

In a press release made public on Friday, Me Colin said that his indictment “finally offers the possibility of defending oneself”.

“I note for my part that the whistleblower refused to file a complaint, refused to submit to the slightest medical or psychological examination and refused to be confronted with Achraf Hakimi even though the accusation is based exclusively on his remarks” , she continued.

Furthermore, she adds, “It results in my view from the documents which are in the hands of the judicial police that Mr. Hakimi has, in this case, been the subject of an attempted racketeering”.

PSG “provides its support”

For its part, the Hakimi club indicated “give support” to his defender and trust in justice”.

“The club will not comment” on this file, said a spokesperson for PSG.

The Parisian coach, Christophe Galtier, for his part, indicated that he “would answer any questions about Achraf Hakimi’s extra-sportsman”, on the eve of PSG-Nantes in Ligue 1.

From a sporting point of view, “The goal is for him to be available for Munich”in the knockout stages of the Champions League on Wednesday against Bayern, added the coach at a press conference.
