The Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Living Abroad has announced that some 144 scholars, preachers and Quran reciters will be dispatched to 11 countries to provide religious support to Moroccans around the world during the month of Ramadan 1444 H/ 2023.
A press release from the Foundation specifies that as part of the “Ramadan 2023” program set up by the Foundation, this delegation will be responsible for leading religious talks and worship activities throughout the holy month in different countries, from March 20 to April 22.
This operation will benefit Moroccans residing in Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada, the United States, Sweden, Iceland, Switzerland, Norway and Gibraltar, noted the same source, adding that the departure of the delegation is scheduled for next Monday. from 9 a.m. from Mohammed V international airport in Casablanca.
Since 1992, we recall, the Hassan II Foundation has provided religious support to MREs throughout the month of Ramadan. By 2022, the Foundation had mobilized 252 members in 16 countries, including France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Iceland and Gibraltar.
