Wydad lose to JSK

Wydad de Casablanca lost to the Algerian club JS Kabylie by a goal to 0, in a match played Friday evening at the Olympic stadium of July 5 in Algiers, counting for the 2nd day (Gr.A) of the phase of groups of the African Football Champions League.

The only goal of the match was scored by Badreddine Souyad (87th), following a corner kicked by Kouceila Boualia.

At the end of this result, JSK provisionally leads the standings with 4 points, ahead of Petro Atlético d’Angola (1 point), while AS Vita Club (DR Congo) and WAC bring up the rear with 0. point, the last two have one game less.

The other match in group (A) will oppose AS Vita Club (DR Congo) to Petro Atlético d’Angola on Saturday at the Brazzaville stadium (5:00 p.m.).

The first two of the group qualify for the quarter-finals of the event.

The other representative of national football in this competition, Raja de Casablanca, clear winner of the Ugandan Vipers (5-0) on the first day of group C, will play away on Saturday (5:00 p.m.), in front of the club Tanzanian Simba, who lost to Horoya Conakry (1-0).
