The Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs announced on Monday that the 1st Shaabane 1444 of the Hegira will correspond to Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
The ministry thus confirmed, in a press release, the observation of the lunar crescent at sunset on Monday 29 Rajab 1444 of the Hegira corresponding to February 20, 2023, noting therefore that, the 1st Chaâbane 1444 of the hegira will correspond to Wednesday, February 22.
“May God, in this blessed month, shower His favors on King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, and renew such an occasion for the Sovereign in greatness and glory, for Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and all the members of the Illustrious Royal Family in the benefits and for the Moroccan people and the whole of the Islamic Umma in progress, prosperity, security and tranquility, “said the press release.
