Safi's Olympique and Berkane's Renaissance neutralize each other

Olympique de Safi (OCS) and Renaissance de Berkane (RSB) were neutralized (1-1) on Sunday, at the El Massira stadium in Safi, on behalf of the 18th day of the Botola Pro D1.

In bad shape with 1 goal behind at the end of the first half, the Oranges picked up the score during the second period.

During the last season, the Safiot club and the Berkanis did not manage to decide between themselves on behalf of the 17th day (0-0) and on the occasion of the 2nd day (1-1).

The opener for the OCS came with an action from Cheikhna Samake in the 24th minute. The RSB came back to score in the 81st minute with an achievement by Issoufou Dayo, giving them the opportunity to clinch the point of the draw.

Among the Berkane Renaissance players, Chadrack Lukombe was sent off in the 76th minute.

Following this meeting, the “Blue Shark”, 29 points, remains in fifth place in the standings, while the Oranges remain in sixth place with 27 points.

For the next day of Botola Pro D1, Olympic de Safi will play away against Ittihad de Tanger on Saturday, while Berkane will play at home against Wydad de Casablanca on Saturday.
