Real Madrid are traveling to Morocco to participate in the Club World Cup without several of their regular players who are suffering from injuries such as Karim Benzema, Courtois and Militao, the reigning European champion announced on Monday.
Real Madrid will play the semi-final of the Club World Cup against Egyptian club Al Ahly in Rabat on Wednesday.
The list summoned by Carlo Ancelotti does not include six injured players, in this case; Mendy, Lucas, Militao, Hazard, Courtois and Benzema.
According to the Spanish sports media, the first four are completely ruled out, while Courtois and Benzema will undergo an intensive rehabilitation program to try to play a hypothetical final, without taking the slightest risk.
The list of 22 players includes four Real Madrid Castilla youngsters: Lucas Cañizares, Marvel, Mario Martín and Arribas.
