The price of diesel increased this Friday, February 3 in some service stations in the Kingdom, in particular TotalEnergies and Shell, recording an increase of nearly 0.30 DH/L for diesel and 0.50 DH/L for gasoline .
After a few weeks of respite at the beginning of December 2022, the increase in fuel prices is picking up again at service stations in Morocco.
From this Friday, diesel recorded a slight increase compared to the start of the surge in prices at the pump, with nearly 0.30 Dh/L for diesel and 0.50 Dh/L for gasoline, which today is close to 15 Dh/L today.
Indeed, in Casablanca, the TotalEnergies and Shell stations are posting this Friday 14.80 Dh/L for gasoline, while the price of diesel is positioned at 13.97 Dh/L.
Regarding other service stations, including Winxo, Afriquia or Ola Energy, they will soon follow in the footsteps of Shell and Total. They currently show 13.60 Dh/L for diesel against 14.30 Dh/L for gasoline.
Despite the financial support granted by the State to transport professionals, the latter warn against a significant increase in prices at the pump in several cities of the Kingdom.
