The Customs and Indirect Tax Administration (ADII) announced on Thursday the replacement of the document relating to the circulation of the vehicle on Moroccan territory under the temporary admission (AT) regime, with a new model bearing a mention on the compliance of the processing of the data collected.
In this sense, a press release from the Administration specifies that “the ADII informs Moroccans of the World and tourists arriving in Morocco on board their tourist vehicle that the document issued by this Administration for the circulation of the vehicle on Moroccan territory under the temporary admission (AT) regime, is replaced by a new model bearing a statement on the compliance of the processing of data collected in this context, with the requirements of law 09-08 relating to the protection of persons with regard to the processing of personal data”.
And to add that the circulation documents under the regime of temporary admission of vehicles registered abroad, issued according to the old model, remain valid until the expiry of the period of residence granted.
The text further notes that “travellers wishing to exercise their right of opposition and rectification, in accordance with the aforementioned law 09-08, can send their requests via the email address: [email protected] “.
