The Moroccan women’s football team beat their counterpart from Slovakia by 3 goals to 0 on Friday in a friendly match played in the Turkish city of Antalya.
The goals for the Atlas Lionesses were scored by Rosella Ayane, Fatima Tagnaout and Yassmine Lemrabet. The national team will play a second friendly match, on February 21 in the same city, against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These two meetings are part of the preparations of the Moroccan selection for the Women’s World Cup, which will take place from July 20 to August 20, in Australia and New Zealand.
During the final phase of the World Cup, the Moroccan selection, vice-champion of Africa, will play in group C with Germany, Colombia and South Korea.
