The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced on Wednesday that King Mohammed VI has contracted the flu.
“The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announces that HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, has contracted the flu and for this reason, His Majesty the King’s personal doctor has recommended to the Sovereign, may God preserve Him, to observe a period of rest and to avoid traveling for a few days. May God preserve His Majesty the King, perpetuate upon Him the blessings of health and grant Him long life,” the statement said.
