Here are the winners of the partial legislative elections to the House of Councilors

Partial legislative elections were held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, to fill the vacant seats in the House of Councillors, following the cancellation of the election of three councilors by the Constitutional Court.

According to data from the Ministry of the Interior, these by-elections involved two seats for the Employee Representative Body and one seat for the electorate of representatives of the most representative professional organizations of employers in the electoral constituency which includes the regions of Souss-Massa, Guelmim-Oued Noun, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab.

The same data indicate that with regard to the electorate of employee representatives, the National Statistics Commission, which held, this Friday, February 17, 2023 at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior, its meeting devoted to the counting of votes , announced the election of Ms. Zahra Mohsen, of the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT) and Mr. Abdelilah Siba, of the General Union of Workers of Morocco (UGTM).

For the electorate of the representatives of the most representative professional organizations of employers, the process of counting the votes which was initiated by the Regional Commission of Statistics, this Friday at the headquarters of the Wilaya of the Souss-Massa region, resulted at the announcement of the victory of Mr. Mohamed Aziz Bouslikhen of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM).
