Prince Moulay Rachid and Princess Lalla Meryem chaired, on Saturday at the Royal Golf Dar Es-Salam in Rabat, the award ceremony for the winners of the 47th edition of the Hassan II Trophy and the 26th edition of the Lalla Meryem Cup of golf.
Upon their arrival at the Royal Golf Dar Es-Salam, Moulay Rachid and Lalla Meryem returned to the grandstand, where they were greeted by the CEO of the “Ladies European Tour”, Alexandra Armas, the President of the PGA Champions Tour. , Miller Brady, and the Deputy 1st Vice-President of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation, Mustapha Zine, before attending the end of the Hassan II Trophy competition.
They then awarded the Hassan II Trophy Pro AM prize to the team composed of Mourad Guezzar, Hatim El Kabbaj and Ali Benlamine.
Then, the Princess presented the 2nd prize of the Lalla Meryem Cup to Sweden’s Linn Grant, while the Prince presented the 2nd prize of the Hassan II Trophy to the Australian Mark Hensby.
After the announcement of the winners, Lalla Meryem presented the Cup which bears her name to the winner of this 26th edition, the Swede Maja Stark, and Moulay Rachid presented the Hassan II Trophy Grand Prize to the Canadian Stephen Ames, winner of this 47th edition.
