
A Council of Government will meet on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, with in particular on the menu the examination of four draft decrees.
A press release from the Head of Government’s department specifies that at the start of its work, the Council will follow a presentation by the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the Digital Transition and the Reform of the Administration on “the government report concerning the simplification of administrative measures and procedures and of the work program for the current year”.
The Council will then examine four draft decrees, the first relates to the application of certain provisions of the law on the simplification of administrative measures and procedures concerning administrative decisions issued by local authorities and their bodies, the second relates to the determination of the list of administrative decisions necessary for the realization of investment projects with a time limit for processing applications and awarding which does not exceed 30 days, while the third project relates to the determination of the list of administrative decisions that require an extension of the processing time in order to carry out a technical expertise.
The fourth draft decree concerns, for its part, the development of the list of administrative decisions considered as approval, after any non-response from the administration after expiry of the legal period.
At the end of the work of the Council, the government will examine certain proposals for appointments to high office, in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.
