The Moroccan Embassy in Ankara has announced that a Moroccan national was killed in the violent earthquake that struck southern Turkey on Monday.
Aged 51, the victim (HM) died in Antakya, capital of the province of Hatay, specifies the same source. Born on February 5, 1972 in Casablanca, she was married to a Turkish citizen.
The son of the deceased (16), slightly injured, was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary care, adds the embassy, assuring that he is doing well.
As a reminder, a violent earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale shook the district of Pazarcık in Kahramanmaraş, in the south of Turkey, during the night from Sunday to Monday, causing enormous damage and a very heavy human toll.
