
After the violent earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria last Monday, killing nearly 23,000 people, the Hatayspor club, where Moroccan international Ayoub El Kaabi plays, has decided to withdraw from the Süper Lig.
During a press briefing on Friday, the President of the Turkish Football Federation announced the decision to withdraw Hatayspor, noting that the club has indeed sent a letter to the Union of Turkish Football Clubs, announcing that the team will not play any more games this season.

Hatay member since August 20, 2021 for a contract that runs until June 30, 2023, Ayoub El Kaabi finds himself unemployed for the rest of the season, whether he decides to leave or stay in the Turkish club.
In 21 appearances under the colors of Hataysport, El Kaabi, 29, scored 8 goals and delivered 2 assists.
