Casablanca Mohammed V airport, the first airport platform in the Kingdom, welcomed 722,402 passengers during the month of January 2023 through 6,173 flights, said the National Airports Office (ONDA).
This traffic represents 92% of passenger air traffic and 84% of airport movements during the month of January 2019, according to the same source.
During the month of January 2023, several airports recorded significant rates of evolution, compared to the traffic recorded during the same period of 2019, thus the airport platform of the economic capital posted a recovery rate of 92%
Domestic air traffic recorded 201,340 passengers during the month of January, with a recovery rate of 91% compared to the same period of 2019, while international air traffic recorded 1,779,954 passengers during the month of January. January, i.e. an increase of around 8% compared to the same period of 2019, show the ONDA data.
During this month of January, there were 15,726 airport movements, against 16,655 movements recorded during the same period of 2019, i.e. a recovery rate of 94%, it is specified.
