Casablanca Stock Exchange: Highlights of the week

Here is the essential of the Casablanca Stock Exchange’s weekly summary for the week of January 02 to 06, 2023: – The Masi dropped 9.35% to 9,717.99 points and the MSI20 lost 9.57% to 775.38 points .

– The overall volume of trade amounted to more than 5.24 billion dirhams (MMDH).

– On the podium of the most active stocks, Attijariwafa Bank is in the lead with a volume of 7.7 billion dirhams, ahead of Itissalat Al Maghrib (4.9 billion dirhams) and LafargeHolcim Maroc (3.4 billion dirhams).

– Market capitalization amounted to 509.7 billion dirhams. – The biggest drops were recorded by Taqa Morocco (-19.49% to 884 DH), Wafaassurance (-16.54% to 3,138 DH), Sodep Marsa Maroc (-16.20% to 181 DH), BCP ( -15.76% to 194.60 DH) and Delta Holding (-15.58% to 20.26 DH).

– The best performances of the week were the work of Zellidja SA (+9.97% at 80 DH), Risma (+4.30% at 118.90 DH), IB Maroc.com (+3.94% at 32.19 DH), Timar (+1.67% at 183 DH) and Stroc Industrie (+0.35% at 39.86 DH).
