Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi is said to be on the verge of joining Olympique Marseille for a transfer of 10 million euros. The transfer is surprising since the player has been courted by several major European clubs including the Premier League.

The Moroccan midfielder from SCO d’Angers, one of the great revelations of the 2022 World Cup and who surprised Spain coach Luis Enrique, should land at OM to everyone’s surprise and play alongside by Amine Harit.

According to RMC Sport, which revealed the information, the Moroccan player should sign a four-and-a-half-year contract with a high resale percentage, after the leaders of the Phocaean club reached an agreement with Angers for his transfer.

Arrived at the SCO in July 2021, the semi-finalist of the World Cup in Qatar, has only played 31 minutes of play since his return, against Clermont.

Courted by many clubs after his successful World Cup, he was in the sights of Naples and several English Premier League and La Liga clubs.
