Al-Ittihad Jeddah secured a place in the final of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup (2022-2023), defeating Al Nassr of Cristiano Ronaldo (3-1), Thursday at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
The Brazilian, Romarinho, opened the scoring for Al-Ittihad, after a quarter of an hour of play, before the Moroccan Abderrazak Hamdallah (43rd) doubled the bet. Al Nassr’s other Brazilian, Anderson Talisca, closed the gap for his side (67th), while Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti delivered the knockout blow to send Al-Ittihad through to the final.
In the final, Al-Ittihad will face Al Feiha, winner of Al-Hilal.
