Suffering from a neurological disease, Celine Dion postpones her next world tour

The famous Canadian singer Celine Dion announced on Thursday that she had postponed her world tour originally scheduled for next February, due to a neurological disease.

“I always give 100% in my concerts, but right now I’m in no condition to do so,” said the singer in a video posted on social networks.

In this message, relayed by the Canadian media, the Quebec artist notes that this disease, which affects approximately one person in a million, is the cause of the muscle spasms that have been plaguing her for quite some time.

She says the condition, called Moersch-Woltman syndrome (Stiff person syndrome), affects her everyday life, especially when she walks and uses her vocal cords. According to the media, a medical therapist helps the artist daily by subjecting her to physical training aimed at restoring her strength and endurance.
