Foot / Ligue 1: Marco Verratti extends to PSG

the Italian midfielder, Marco Verratti, has decided to extend his adventure in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) until 2026.

By announcing this extension, Wednesday evening, shortly before the kick-off of the PSG-Strasbourg match”, the club specified that “The Italian international is now linked with the capital club until June 30, 2026“.

Verratti (30) joined the club from the capital in July 2012 after winning Serie B with his training club, Delfino Pescara.

Over his 10 seasons in Paris, the native of Pescara totaled 398 official matches with the PSG shirt (11 goals and 48 assists).

He is currently the second most capped player in club history behind Jean-Marc Pilorget (435). Crowned 8 times, Verratti is the most successful player in the history of the French Championship.
