Celebrities and Queens congratulate Morocco and the Lions

The Arab and African world celebrated Tuesday, December 6 the qualification in the quarter-finals of the World Cup of our Atlas Lions, who spectacularly beat the Spaniards on penalties, during a match which will remain engraved in the history and memory of every Moroccan.

On social media, images of our Atlas Lions and the flag of Morocco fill the news feed. We only talk about the victory of our Lions. On the Moroccan side, our celebrities did not miss the opportunity to congratulate the team or the Moroccan coach, Walid Reguragui.

The Moroccan producer and author, who at the same time composed the famous song ” Dreamers“, published a photo of him last night with the Moroccan flag, at the Education Stadium where the Morocco-Spain match was played.

For her part, the Moroccan singer Asmaa Lmnawar, posted the photo of Yassine Bounou, Morocco’s goalkeeper, commenting on the photo with: ” Best smile in the world. May God keep you for Imane, your parents, and may God protect your children“.

Our Moroccan journalist, Nawfal Alawamleh, for his part put a photo of a lawn with the writing on it: “ The people of Tangier hear the cries of the Spaniards » accompanied by emojis of « giggles“.

Among Arab celebrities, the Lebanese singer Elissa, did not fail to congratulate Morocco by sharing a photo of the Atlas Lions with the comment: ” Champions! Champions! Champions! How beautiful you are Lions! Congratulations to Morocco, a historic achievement that brought joy to all of our hearts!“.

The singer Yara also congratulated the Moroccans for the victory against Spain, via a beautiful photo where she wore the official uniform of the Lions and with the comment: ” Congratulations Atlas Lions. You honored the Arabs and wrote the history of Qatar in Arabic calligraphy“.

Coming thus to royalty. Skheikha Moza Bint Nasser congratulated the Atlas Lions on several occasions, notably during their victory over Belgium and again yesterday during their victory over Spain. She even attended the match with Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, former Emir of Qatar. A moment that she immortalized by several photos shared on social networks with the comment: “ Congratulations to the Moroccan national team for qualifying for the quarter-finals“.

The Queen of Jordan, Rania also congratulated Morocco and the national team on Twitter for their victory against Spain with the comment: Congratulations to the Atlas Lions, you made us happy… Wow Morocco, you did it again“.

It should be remembered that Morocco became the fourth African country to reach the quarter-final stage of a World Cup, thanks to talented players including Yassine Bounou acclaimed as a hero after being impassable in the penalty shootout. The international press reacted strongly to this golden generation which wrote the history of Moroccan football.
