The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaly Klitschko, announced on Tuesday that kyiv was targeted by a Russian “attack”. Two residential buildings in kyiv were hit by Russian missiles, the mayor of the city announced on Telegram.
“Attack on the capital: according to preliminary information, two residential buildings were hit in the Pechersk district. Several missiles were shot down by air defense over kyiv,” Klitschko said on Telegram.
The bombardments also reached the regions of Chernígov, Cherkasy and Poltava, according to the respective local authorities quoted by the UNIAN agency.
