Former US President Donald Trump will announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential elections on Tuesday, one of the Republican leader’s advisers said on Friday.
“Trump will announce on Tuesday that he will run for president”Jason Miller said on a radio show.
Miller said he spoke with Trump on the phone earlier in the day.
Trump let Miller know that‘”there is no need to ask questions” about his intentions, said the former White House tenant’s longtime adviser.
“Of course I will be a candidate”Trump said, according to Miller.
Miller, who worked on the former president’s election campaigns in 2016 and 2020, remained an adviser to Trump after the presidency.
He said he expects a large crowd and hundreds of reporters for Tuesday’s announcement, which will take place in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
