The 9th Visa For Music festival, a real professional market for music from Africa and the Middle East, is taking place from November 16 to 19 in Rabat. Three concerts by artists from Morocco and Africa are scheduled for the opening.
A press release from the organizers specifies that “the opening night will begin from 6:00 p.m. at the Mohammed V National Theater in Rabat, with an opening speech and three concerts: Fanie Fayar, beautiful voice coming directly from the Congo River, medalist d’or de la chanson at the 8th Games of La Francophonie Abidjan-2017, Demi Portion, whose real name is Rachid, a talented artist, defender of hip-hop sharing and transmission and Farid Ghannam, an experienced musician who will be accompanied by the group the Cosmic Carnival”.
The evening will end with a concert by Rokia Bamba from Belgium, at 12:30 a.m. at the Coupole Palais Tazi, adds the same source, noting that the press conference to launch the festival is scheduled for November 16 at 3:30 p.m. at the Café la Scène de la Renaissance.
Placed under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, this major international event dedicated to music from Africa and the Middle East is organized this year as part of the celebration of “Rabat, African Capital of Culture”.
