The American national team won Tuesday evening against the Iranians by 1 goal to 0, as part of Group B of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The only goal of the game was scored in the 38th minute by Christian Pulisic. The Iranians couldn’t score for the rest of the match.
Thanks to this victory, the United States qualified for the round of 16 alongside England, which also won Tuesday night against Wales 3-0 and will face Senegal in the eighth.
