The Prime Minister wishes to develop cooperation with Morocco

Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic affirmed on Tuesday in Fez that Morocco and Montenegro have significant potential to develop their cooperation and take it to a higher level.

During a press briefing following talks he had with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, on the sidelines of the work of the 9th Forum of the At the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (22-23 November), Dritan Abazovic affirmed his country’s desire to further consolidate its cooperation with the Kingdom, while stressing the importance of the exchange of expertise and experiences between the two countries in many areas.

In this regard, he considered that Morocco and Montenegro are among the most important world tourist destinations, hence the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the tourism sector and also in renewable energies, welcoming the great progress that the Kingdom is experiencing at different levels.

The Prime Minister of Montenegro also noted that the city of Fez, with its historical symbolism, is the most appropriate place to send messages of solidarity and promote universal values ​​in the difficult context that the world is going through present day, calling for the spread of the values ​​of peace, tolerance and development in the world.

Nasser Bourita chairs jointly with the High Representative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, Miguel Angel Moratinos, this world forum which brings together a thousand participants, representing several countries and international organizations.

This global event aims to promote dialogue and coexistence between different societies, cultures and civilizations, and to build bridges in order to unite peoples, far from their cultural or religious differences, through the development of a series of concrete measures aimed at avoiding conflict and building peace.
