RSB part ways with coach Abdelhak Benchikha

Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RSB) has officially parted ways with coach Abdelhak Benchikha, the club announced on Thursday.

Recruited last August, the Algerian technician was relieved of his duties on Thursday evening by the club’s administration due to the poor results recorded since the start of the season, in particular the elimination of the defending champion of the Coupe de la Confederation of African Football (CAF), says one on the official Facebook page of the club.

“Under the professional contract concluded between the two parties, and in line with the objectives set at the start of the season, both parties have agreed to part ways due to the successive negative results at local and continental level,” the club said.

According to the management office of the Oranges, any changes made within the club will be communicated in the coming days.

RSB is in 13th place in the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi” standings, with 6 points on the clock after 7 games played.
