NATO is “examining” unconfirmed press reports that Russian missiles hit Polish territory on Tuesday, we learned in the evening from an official source.
“We are examining this information and we are in close coordination with Poland, our ally,” said a NATO official, on condition of anonymity. Poland, a neighbor of Ukraine, is a member of the Atlantic Alliance.
