Morocco participates in the 43rd Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie in Tunisia

The work of the 43rd session of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie (CMF) opened on Friday in Djerba, with the participation of Morocco.

The Moroccan delegation to this meeting, organized on the eve of the 18th Summit of Heads of State and Government of countries having French in common, is led by Mrs. Nadia EL Hnot, Director of Cooperation and Cultural Action at the Ministry Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad and Personal Representative of the Head of Government to the International Organization of La Francophonie.

Participants will discuss the agenda of the XVIII Francophonie Summit, the Djerba Declaration, the draft Declaration on the French language in the linguistic diversity of La Francophonie, the Strategic Framework of La Francophonie 2023-2030 and the actions carried out by La Francophonie in favor of the French language.

This meeting will have to adopt the reports of its four previous sessions and present the results of the work essentially devoted to the preparation of the CMF and the Djerba Summit as it also reports on the main files followed by the CPF during the year 2022 and emphasizes the ambitions of La Francophonie in favor of the French language within the framework of the promotion of multilingualism.
