ONCF: More than 33.5 million passengers transported at the end of September

The number of passengers transported by the National Railways Office (ONCF) rose to more than 33.5 million people during the first nine months of this year, up 36% compared to the same period. of 2021.

The passenger activity confirms its growth “with more than 33.5 million passengers who chose the train for their journeys at the end of September 2022, an increase of 36% compared to the same period of the year 2021”, indicates the Office in a press release on its activity indicators for the 3rd quarter of 2022.

Revenue from the passenger activity recorded during the 3rd quarter of 2022 reached 757 million dirhams (MDH), up 58% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2021. At the end of September, revenue of this activity has evolved by 53% compared to the same period of 2021, “thus marking the achievement of the performance expected before the Covid pandemic”, indicates the Office.
