Lalla Zineb chairs the signing of a convention on children in difficult circumstances

Princess Lalla Zineb, President of the Moroccan League for the Protection of Children (LMPE), chaired, on Wednesday at the Lalla Amina Center in Rabat, the signing ceremony of a framework partnership agreement between the League and the Ministry Solidarity, social integration and the family, aimed at supporting childcare facilities for children in difficult circumstances.

“As part of the action program to support childcare facilities for children in difficult circumstances, Her Highness Princess Lalla Zineb, President of the Moroccan League for the Protection of Children (LMPE), chaired on Wednesday 23 November 2022, at the Lalla Amina Center in Rabat, the signing ceremony of the framework partnership agreement with the Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family, Aawatif Hayar”, indicates a press release from the LMPE.

The purpose of this partnership agreement is to contribute to the financial support of the operation of reception centers for children deprived of families coming under the League, with a view to improving the quality of the services provided to the residents of these centers and strengthen the mechanisms for the protection and institutional integration of this category of children, the statement said.

Under this agreement, the league staff will benefit from the various training and skills development programs initiated by the ministry for the promotion of children’s rights and their social integration, adds the same source.

On this occasion, Princess Lalla Zineb recalled the main lines of the League’s action program aimed at extending care centers for children separated from their family environment and increasing the reception capacity of structures. in order to meet the pressing needs of the target population, in accordance with royal guidelines.

For his part, Awatef Hayar reiterated the commitment of his department to support the efforts made by the League in the field of child protection and to give impetus to social actions relating to the care, support and the integration of vulnerable groups, and more particularly children in difficult circumstances and with disabilities.
