Ghana offers a third success to Africa

Ghana beat South Korea (3-2) on the second day of Group H and thus revived for qualification in the eighth round of the 2022 World Cup final. This is the third victory of a African nation in the competition after Senegal and Morocco.

After Morocco and Senegal, it is the turn of another African team to win their second match in the 2022 World Cup. Ghana won this Monday, November 28, against South Korea (3- 2) after a tight game.

After suffering a loss to Portugal, Ghana came into the game with a will to surpass themselves and managed to open the scoring in the 23rd minute when Mohammed Salisu scored with a left-footed pivot shot.

Despite having regained control of the ball, South Korea are surprised once again with the Ghanaians who double the lead with Mohammed Kudus (34 ‘) who passes in front of his opposite and cuts his head leaving no chance for the goalkeeper .

In the second half, South Korea provided a first big chance that was caught by the Ghanaian goalkeeper, before Ghana tried their luck in turn.

In the 58th minute, South Korea reduced the score thanks to Gue-sung, and doubled the bet to return to the race a few minutes later with their first scorer with a powerful header between Mohammed Salisu and Gideon Mensah.

Ghana is far from having said its last word and scores a third goal signed Mohamed Kudus (68′) who offers himself a double.

Opportunities continue to present themselves on both sides, with the desire to come back to the score for the Koreans. The two nations are still in the competition after the final score of 3 to 2 for Ghana.
