Canada, Morocco’s future opponent at the Qatar-2022 World Cup, drew against Bahrain (2-2) on Friday at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Madinat Isa, as part of a friendly confrontation.
The Canadians’ goals were scored by Ismaël Koné (6′) and Lucas Cavallini (81′), while the Bahrain team scored through Mahdi Fayçal Hamidan (14′) and Abdallah Youssef Hilal (65′, sp ).
Canada must play another friendly match before the World Cup. It will be opposed on November 17 in Japan.
Note that Canada is housed in Group F alongside Morocco, Croatia and Belgium.
He will start the competition against Belgium on November 23, before facing Croatia (November 27), then Morocco (December 1).
