Cristiano Ronaldo sanctioned after destroying Manchester United and his coach

Cristiano Ronaldo suffers the consequences of his explosive interview in which he knocks out his club Manchester United and strongly tackles his coach Erik Ten Hag. The Portuguese star will have to pay a heavy fine after his remarks.

Nothing is going well between Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United. The striker could face a huge £1million fine for his interview with Piers Morgan.

The English club quickly reacted to his player’s comments through a press release.
“Manchester United take note of the media coverage regarding an interview with Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider their response once all the facts have been established, the Red Devils say. We are focused on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and unity that is being built between the players, manager, staff and fans.”

In an explosive 90-minute chat to be aired later this week, Ronaldo claimed he had been “betrayed” by Manchester United and felt like he was being pushed aside.

In a series of clips that were posted online, he revealed he ‘had no respect’ for current manager Erik ten Hag, and said he had ‘never heard of’ him. Ralf Rangnick before he became interim coach.

More so, the 37-year-old also accused United of showing a ‘lack of empathy’ when his three-month-old daughter was hospitalized and said they doubted his reasons for not showing up in the pre-season in July.

According to reports from Sky Sports, Ronaldo’s teammates are said to be “extremely disappointed” with the interview, with senior United brass initially unaware of the interview.

Ronaldo, who joined United in August 2021 and finished top scorer in all competitions last season with 24 goals, has asked to leave the club this summer. His departure could well take place earlier than expected.
