Arrival in Doha of the delegation of the Moroccan selection

The delegation of the national football team arrived Sunday evening in Doha, Qatar, to play the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, scheduled from November 20 to December 18.

Upon arrival, the national selection delegation was welcomed at Hamad International Airport by Morocco’s Ambassador to Doha, Mohamed Setri and members of the Kingdom’s Embassy.

A large audience made up of members of the Moroccan community went to the place of residence of the national team to support the Atlas Lions and encourage them in this international competition.

The delegation of the national team includes seven players in this case Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti, Yahya Attiatallah, Yahya Jabrane, Munir El Kajoui, Selim Amallah, Jaouad El Yamiq, Azzedine Ounahi to whom the rest of the elements of the group will join (19) always engaged with their respective clubs, indicates the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) in a press release published on its website.

The national team delegation is led by Mr. Abdelmalek Abroune, member of the FRMF Steering Committee, who represents the president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa, head of delegation, adds the same source.

During the final phase of the World Cup-2022, the Atlas Lions will evolve in group F, alongside Belgium, Croatia and Canada.

In preparation for this planetary event, the Moroccan selection will face its Georgian counterpart in a friendly match next Thursday in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The match is scheduled from 8:00 p.m. local time (5:00 p.m. Morocco time).
