Moulay El Hassan chairs the opening of the 13th Horse Show

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, on Monday, the opening ceremony of the 13th edition of the El Jadida Horse Fair, which is being held from October 18 to 23 under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI.

Upon his arrival at the Mohammed VI exhibition center, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was welcomed by Moulay Abdallah Alaoui, president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE).

After reviewing a section of the Royal Guard which was paying honours, the Crown Prince was greeted by the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Waters and Forests, the Wali of the Casablanca region. -Settat, the president of the regional council, the interim governor of the province of El Jadida, the president of the provincial council, the president of the commune of Haouzia, the members of the board of directors of the association of the horse show and executives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Waters and Forests.

At the entrance to the Mohammed VI exhibition center, HRH the Crown Prince was greeted by HE Mr. Bayero Aminu Ado, Emir of Kano State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bayero Ahmed Ado, son of the Emir of State of Kano, General Salim Al Barak, chief of staff of prince Abdelaziz Ben Ahmed Ben Abdelaziz president of the Arab organization of the Arab horse, Mohamed Ahmad Al Harbi, general manager of the association of purebred Arab horses of the Emirates United Arabs, Imad Al Hatouchi, president of the association of thoroughbred Arab horses of Libya, Abdelrazik Ahmad Adil, member of the Arab organization of the Arab horse.

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan then made a tour through the various exhibition stands of the show, dedicated in particular to the village of sponsors, the Maison de l’artisan, the village of institutions, the international village, the regions , the herders’ village, the commercial village, the art and culture village, the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the Royal Gendarmerie, the Royal Guard, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the auxiliary forces.

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan subsequently attended, in the main quarry, horse shows performed by Moroccan and foreign troops and riders, in particular from the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the Royal Guard and the General Directorate of national security (DGSN).

This show also saw the participation of the Academy of Equestrian Arts of Marrakech, the cavalcade troupe of Mario Luraschi and Santi Serra Camps before ending with the performance of the riders of the Royal Gendarmerie.

Subsequently, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan headed to the Tbourida space where he followed fantasia shows hosted by 18 Sorbas representing the different regions of the Kingdom before posing for a souvenir photo with the Moqadems.

Organized under the theme “The Horse Factor of Territorial Development”, the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida aims to contribute to the development of the equine sector, which in a few editions has been able to set itself up as an annual and essential meeting place for professionals.

A rich and diversified program will be put in place. It includes highlights such as the Tbourida competition where we will see the best Sorbas each representing a region of the Kingdom compete in the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, or the Grand Prix of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI in Show Jumping, final test of the Morocco Royal Tour.

Other national and international competitions will be scheduled, namely the International Show A of the Purebred Arabian, the Cup of Moroccan Breeders of Arabian Horses, the Barb Horse Championship, the Arab-Beards Champions Cup, the National Farriery Championship modern, the Equi-Play Tour events or the International Jumping Competition CSI 4* W/CSI 1* of the Morocco Royal Tour.

In addition to these very high-level competitions and exhibitions, there will be fun, artistic and sporting equestrian activities, as well as a complete program structured around the promotion of professions and know-how related to the world of horses. All these events will bring together professionals and the general public for great moments of sport and emotion. And as is tradition, the horse will once again be at the center of many cultural and scientific conferences.
