The Renaissance of Berkane and the Moghreb of Tetouan left with a draw (2-2) Tuesday at the municipal stadium of Berkane, on the occasion of the update of the 5th day of the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi”.
Tetouan finally caught up with the score after being trailing two goals to one at the end of the first period.
The previous matches between the Oranges and the Tetouanese team date back to the 2020/2021 season. Berkane had then reversed the MAT on behalf of the 30th day (2-3), and the two teams had tied the game on the occasion of the 15th day (1-1).
The Berkani club opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a goal from Djibril Ouattara, before widening the gap with a goal from Charki El Bahri in the 13th minute. After reducing their deficit with a goal from Mohamed Kamal in the 39th minute, the formation of the white dove picked up the score in the 50th minute with a goal from Youssef Arbidi, giving them the opportunity to clinch the point of the draw .
Following this meeting, the RSB climbed to 14th place with 2 points, while Moghreb de Tetouan, 8 points, rose to eighth place.
The Renaissance of Berkane will move to the Sports Youth Salmi for the next day of Botola. Tetouan will play away against Chabab de Mohammédia.
