The Moroccan football team (U20) lost (0-1), Monday at the Suez Stadium, against its Libyan counterpart on behalf of the 3rd and final day of the North African Football Union tournament ( UNAF), missing out on the opportunity to qualify for the next African Cup of Nations (CAN), scheduled for next year in Egypt.
The Nationals had started the competition with a draw against Tunisia, before winning against Algeria (1-0).
Egypt hosted the UNAF tournament from October 18 to 24, with the participation of four selections: Morocco, Tunisia, Libya and Algeria. The Tunisians qualified for the next CAN, scheduled from February 18 to March 18, 2023, finishing in the lead with 5 points.
