Atlas Lions: Imrane Louza out of Qatar 2022

The Moroccan international, member of Watford (English D2), Imrane Louza, is forfeited for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Injured on Wednesday in the left ankle, he announced his inability to join the Atlas Lions in November.

The former FC Nantes, who finally suffers from a fracture, said all his sadness to miss “this dream”. On his Instagram account, he posted an image where we see him evacuated on a stretcher, and expressed his great disappointment

“Images hard to take, news hard to accept, last night one of my biggest dreams came to an end. I have no choice but to get up and fight for my family and all those who believe in me. I will come back even stronger than ever,” he wrote.

Note that the forecast for the World Cup in Qatar (November 20-December 18), the national coach, Walid Reguragui, should announce his final list of players selected in the first ten days of November.

Morocco is housed in Group F where it will face Croatia (November 23), then Belgium (November 27) and Canada (December 1) for its first match.
