WTI below $90, its pre-conflict level in Ukraine

US WTI oil fell back below $90 a barrel on Thursday, its lowest since February before the Russian military operation in Ukraine, the benchmark for crude in the United States thus canceling out all its gains generated by the war.

Around 1:20 p.m. GMT (3:20 p.m. in Paris), the barrel of American West Texas Intermediate (WTI) lost 0.87% to 89.86 dollars, when its European counterpart, Brent from the North Sea, fell by 1.22% to $95.58 a barrel.
