Oriental, the most affected region in Morocco

Morocco recorded 147 new cases carrying the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of cases recorded at the national level since the start of the epidemic to 1 261,125.

Currently, the total active cases rise to 3,879, among them, 90 cases are in serious condition. Second region in the ranking, the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with a total of 30 cases, 19 of which are located in the capital.

For its part, the Greater Casablanca-Settat region shows 22 cases including 13 in Casablanca, and Souss -Massa shows 20 cases including 16 in Agadir-Ida -Ou-Tanane. Follows, Draâ-Tafilalet with 8 infections including 4 in Midelt and 4 in Ouarzazate, the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region recorded 8 infections including 5 in Tetouan, then comes the region of Béni Mellal-Khénifra with 7 cases including 6 in Khénifra and one death in Beni Mellal. Marrakech-Safi accuses 6 cases all in Marrakech cases and finally Fez-Meknes 3 cases all in Meknes.
