Foot: PSG formalizes the transfer of Thilo Kehrer to West Ham

Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) formalized the departure of its German defender Thilo Kehrer to West Ham United on Wednesday.

“German defender Thilo Kehrer has transferred permanently to West Ham United, Premier League,” the French club said in a statement.

Thilo Kehrer began his training at VfB Stuttgart before joining Schalke 04 in 2012. He began his professional career by coming into play against Borussia Dortmund on February 6, 2016. With the German club, the native of Tübingen participated in 59 matches and scored 4 goals.

The defender joined PSG in the summer of 2018, the statement recalls, noting that with the capital club, Thilo Kehrer played a total of 128 matches, scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists.

In four seasons with the Rouge & Bleu, he contributed to the success of the team and won three French championships, two French Cups, a League Cup and a Champions Trophy.

As a reminder, Kehrer, German international since the U16 category, the defender of Burundian origin has established himself over the years with the young teams of the Mannschaft. He was called up for the first time by Joachim Low and made his debut for the A team against Peru on September 9, 2018.
