FNF: The members of the juries of the 22nd edition revealed

The Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) has unveiled the members of the juries of the 22nd edition of the National Film Festival (FNF), scheduled in Tangier from September 16 to 24.

Chaired by Driss Anouar, audiovisual sector expert and former Deputy General Manager in charge of Technique and production of the “2M” channel, the jury of the 22nd FNF feature film competition includes Lahcen Zinoun (filmmaker, choreographer), Touria Majdouline (academic, writer and poet), Mohamed Tarrous (academic, film critic), Bilal Marmid (journalist, film critic), Bouchra Boulouiz (writer) and Belaid El Akkaf (songwriter), indicates a press release from the CCM .

The short film competition jury is made up of director Layla Triqui, in her capacity as president, and members Ghizlane Assif (director, chief editor), Ikram Zaid (journalist), Mohamed Abid (columnist, poet) and Bouchra Boumarej (costumer, costume designer).

Chaired by director Daoud Aoulad Syad, the jury for the feature documentary competition includes Mariem Ait Belhoucine (professor of journalism, Doctor of cinema) and Abdelwahab Sibaouaih (doctor of letters, collector of manuscripts and archives) .

In addition, 19 prizes divided between the three competitions will be awarded by the three juries, namely: the Fiction Feature Film Competition (Grand Prize, Production Prize, Special Jury Prize, First Work Prize, Direction, Screenplay Award, Leading Actress Award, Leading Actor Award, Supporting Actress Award, Supporting Actor Award, Image Award, Sound Award, Editing Award and Original Music Award) .

There is also the Short Film Competition (Grand Prize, Special Jury Prize and Screenplay Prize), and the Documentary Feature Film Competition (Grand Prize for Documentary and Special Jury Prize).
