The Foreign Ministry declined to comment on the content of the Israeli newspaper article, which stated that “ there was preparation at the highest level for a summit of the countries participating in the peace plan“. Mouatadid pointed out that “Lapid’s visit to Morocco has strategic implications, especially since the situation in the Arab world regarding the Palestinian issue raises many questions about the seriousness of Israeli involvement in building a responsible and constructive roadmap to guarantee the legitimate and historical rights of the Palestinians“.
