The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Morocco, in partnership with the HIBA Foundation, announces the second edition of the artistic residency “Bayt Al Fenn” from September 23 to October 02, 2022, under the theme “Chkoun Ana? Expression of Moroccan creative identity between heritage and modernity”.
Bayt Al Fenn, according to its organizers, aims to be a residence for artistic creation, all disciplines combined, a themed inventive laboratory and a real place of experimentation and creation. A project offering artists support for their projects, from creation to public dissemination.
As part of this 2nd edition, Bayt Al Fenn is launching a call for projects until August 28, 2022. The theme chosen concerns the choice of art, creation and fiction as powerful engines to imagine the quest for identify.
Support for the creation of Bayt Al Fenn concerns Moroccan project leaders, whatever the artistic field involved: music, dance, theater, storytelling, circus, plastic arts, audiovisual, visual arts…
The stated desire is to promote creation in all its diversity, to bring real added value to the sector of Moroccan artistic production, with particular attention to emerging artists. Whether they are in the process of professionalization, future or confirmed professionals, artists can benefit from the support of Bayt Al Fenn.
