Women's CAN (semi-final): South Africa qualifies on the wire against Zambia (1-0)

It was at the last minute of playing time that South Africa validated its qualification for the final of the Women’s African Cup, beating Zambia (1-0), this Monday at the Mohammed-V Complex in Casablanca.

The Banyana Banyana goal was scored by Linda Mothalo (90+4′) from the penalty spot.

Both teams have secured a place at the 2023 World Cup, co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

The other semi-final will oppose, a little later in the evening, Morocco to Nigeria.
