Women's AFCON: Zambia wins ahead of Tunisia (1-0)

The Zambian women’s football team won in extremis against its Tunisian counterpart with a score of 1 goal to 0, Wednesday evening at the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca, in a match counting for the 2nd day (Group B) of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) women’s football (Morocco-2022).

The only goal of the game was the work of Avell Chitundu (90′ +2).

At the end of this meeting, Zambia occupies the 1st place of this pool with 4 units, followed by its opponent of the day, Tunisia (3 pts), Cameroon (1 pt) and Togo (0 pt).

On behalf of the same group, the Togo women’s team will cross swords with their Cameroonian counterpart in the evening on the lawn of the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca.
